We're welcoming interest for multiple coaching positions. Support our players with training sessions, player development and matchday activities.

You do not need previous experience in football to make a valuable contribution to Hillingdon United FC.

We are interested in people who bring reliability, initiative, professionalism and a genuine willingness to contribute. Skills and experience gained through business, education, public service, sport or the wider community can all bring real value to the club.

We also recognise that our volunteers have careers, families and other commitments. Roles are therefore designed with realistic expectations, while giving people the opportunity to take genuine responsibility, develop their experience and make a meaningful contribution to the club’s growth.

Help Build Hillingdon United

Hillingdon United FC is building more than a football team. We are developing an ambitious, well-run community football club with long-term plans for growth across football, operations, commercial partnerships and local engagement.

We are looking for reliable and motivated people who would like to contribute their skills, experience or time to help shape the club from the ground up.

You do not need to have worked in football before. We welcome interest from local professionals, students and experienced volunteers with backgrounds in areas such as administration, operations, finance, media, marketing, commercial partnerships, events and football development.

Some opportunities involve regular responsibility, while others can be shaped around the time and expertise you are able to offer.

FAQs

Do I need previous football experience to volunteer?

No. While some roles may benefit from football experience, enthusiasm, reliability and a positive attitude are often just as important. We welcome people from all backgrounds.

Are these paid positions?

Our current volunteer opportunities are unpaid. However, volunteers gain valuable experience and play an important role in helping Hillingdon United FC grow and develop.

How much time will I need to commit?

This depends on the role. Some volunteers may support on matchdays only, while others may also attend occasional training sessions or assist behind the scenes. We understand that volunteers have other commitments and aim to be flexible wherever possible.

We are currently welcoming expressions of interest for roles including an Assistant Coach, Media Officers, Video editors, Club Operations Assistant, Club Administration Support. As the club grows, additional opportunities will become available.

Our Head of Recruitment will review your expression of interest and contact you to arrange an informal conversation to discuss suitable roles, your availability, and answer any questions you may have.
